Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DesignEase platform operated by DesignEase Online (CR No. 173382-1), registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Definitions

• 
  Platform: The DesignEase web application, including the Surface Library, Vision Lab, Designers Portal, Supplier Portal, and all related services.
• 
  Designer: A registered user who uses the platform to browse, source, and specify architectural materials for interior design projects.
• 
  Supplier: A registered business entity that lists and sells materials through the platform, subject to verification and approval.
• 
  Material: Any product listed on the platform, including flooring, wall coverings, stone, wood, metal, glass, and other architectural materials.
• 
  Services: All features, tools, and functionality provided through the DesignEase platform.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Designer accounts require email verification. Supplier accounts require business verification and admin approval before activation. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

3. Designer Terms

Designers may browse materials, create projects and design boards, generate BOQ specifications, use the Vision Lab AI tools (subject to credit limits), and send inquiries to suppliers. AI credit usage is governed by your subscription tier. Materials displayed on the platform are provided by third-party suppliers; DesignEase does not guarantee the accuracy of material specifications, pricing, or availability. Prices shown are in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and may include platform margins.

4. Supplier Terms

Suppliers must hold a valid commercial registration in their jurisdiction. All material listings are subject to review and approval by DesignEase. Suppliers must provide accurate product information including pricing, specifications, dimensions, and availability. Suppliers are responsible for fulfilling orders and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. DesignEase reserves the right to suspend or remove supplier accounts that fail to meet quality or responsiveness standards.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Designer subscriptions are available in Essential, Signature, and Firm tiers, billed monthly or annually in Bahraini Dinar (BHD). Payments are processed securely through TAP Payments. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. AI credits included in your plan reset monthly and do not carry over.

6. Intellectual Property

The DesignEase platform, including its design, code, branding (logo, diamond motif, color scheme), and content, is the intellectual property of DesignEase Online. Material images, descriptions, and specifications remain the intellectual property of their respective suppliers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without express written permission. User-generated content (project names, board configurations, specifications) remains your property.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Bahraini law.
• Not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
• Not attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the platform's security or functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

DesignEase acts as a platform connecting designers with suppliers and does not manufacture, warehouse, or ship materials. To the maximum extent permitted by Bahraini law, DesignEase shall not be liable for: (a) the quality, accuracy, or availability of materials listed by suppliers; (b) disputes between designers and suppliers; (c) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform; or (d) losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security.

9. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that material information, pricing, or AI-generated recommendations will be error-free. Users should independently verify critical specifications before making purchasing decisions.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. DesignEase reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to projects, design boards, and platform features will cease. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
